The witch of portobello

‘The witch of Portobello’ by Paulo Coelho starts off in a very interesting way but as it reaches the second half the good deal of philosophy might not keep you interested in the book. One will either forcibly read through the pages or skip them. It is about a girl named Athena, a gypsy by birth, who is perceived as a witch by the society. The narration style is good where in different people from Athena’s life are telling different parts of her life. Few heart winning lines are---

“I ask for your forgiveness”

“Love is the strongest force”

Somehow there is so much philosophy that it will bring the book to boring moments.
